Major in Economics

Economics provides skills in problem-solving for business and government.  It teaches ways to understand what happens in markets and how to understand the performance of national economies, and approaches for analysing and interpreting data.  Within the discipline of economics there are several main areas of study, including microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics / quantitative methods.
