Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
SIFE is a not-for-profit organisation present in 48 countries, that encourages students to use the knowledge they are gaining at university to teach others something that will benefit them. Teams of students, led by Faculty advisors, are challenged to develop community outreach projects. Projects are judged by leaders from the business community in national and international competitions.
Projects developed reach SIFE’s five educational topics:
- Market Economics
- Success Skills
- Entrepreneurship
- Financial Literacy
- Business Ethics
The University of Melbourne SIFE team recently won the national competition and will go to New York to compete internationally. Read full article.
